About Raising Thinkers

19 Years in Education. 3 Distinct Lenses. One Mission.
Artificial Intelligence is changing the world at a breathtaking pace, and education is right at the center. Navigating this isn't just a tech challenge, it’s a human one.
As a former teacher, coordinator, and Assistant Principal—and as a mother of two young children—I see this revolution through three distinct lenses every single day.
- I know the pressure school leaders face to innovate quickly while keeping data secure, policies compliant, and academic integrity intact.
- I know the daily realities teachers face as they manage changing classroom dynamics and fight burnout.
- I know the questions parents quietly consider at the dinner table, wondering how to protect their children in a world full of digital shortcuts.
Raising Thinkers was born originally as a podcast to help give parents quick and simple ideas to help build their children as problem solvers, but now it has transformed into something bigger. This came about out of a simple realization: to truly prepare the next generation for an AI-driven future, we cannot look at education in a vacuum. We need a 360-degree approach that connects everyone as a team.
Custom AI Solutions for Schools
Every school culture, district, and student body is unique. There is no one-size-fits-all AI policy, and you don't need cookie-cutter advice. I partner directly with educational institutions to architect tailored, agile AI frameworks that meet your specific needs.
Whether your school is just starting to look at AI or refining an existing roadmap, I help leadership teams design practical solutions across the board:
- Policy & Governance: Crafting clear, realistic academic integrity guidelines, usage parameters, keeping student privacy at the core.
- Teacher Workflow & Support: Empowering faculty to safely use AI to reduce administrative burdens, differentiate lesson plans, and reclaim time for human mentoring.
- Classroom Guardrails: Developing grade-appropriate boundaries that prevent passive "cognitive off-loading" and instead promote active, inquiry-based learning.
- Community Alignment: Helping schools communicate their AI vision clearly to parents, turning tech anxiety into shared literacy.

Behind the Expertise
I’m not a tech vendor. I’m an educator who understands the day-in, day-out challenges of a school. Over my 19-year career across public, private, and international private school systems, my roles have uniquely shaped how I approach AI strategy:
- As an Assistant Principal: I learned firsthand how to navigate leadership dynamics, compliance, risk management, and the logistics of school-wide strategic rollouts.
- As a PYP & Gifted Program Coordinator: I spent years focusing on inquiry-based, concept-driven learning. In an AI world where answers are free, success depends on knowing how to ask the right questions. I help schools build environments that prioritize this high-level critical thinking.
- As a Math Instructional Coach: I specialized in logic, patterns, and faculty professional development—translating complex systems into practical classroom strategies that teachers actually want to adopt.
- As a Wife and Mom: I am right in the trenches with you at home. I manage screen-time boundaries, foster natural curiosity, and live the exact challenges I help parents navigate every day.
