E54 The Secret Agent Academy
A screen-free audio adventure! Kids practice Spanish vocabulary, deductive reasoning, and counting backward as they go undercover at the Secret Agent Academy.
If you are looking for an engaging, screen-free activity for your car commute or living room today, we have a top-secret audio adventure ready for you! We are putting on our sunglasses and going undercover at the Global Secret Agent Academy.
In today's interactive Brain Warm-Up, your Thinkers are the lead detectives. The Golden Magnifying Glass has been stolen right before graduation, and we have to catch the culprit! Your kids will practice Spanish clothing vocabulary (sombrero, zapatos, chaqueta) while using the process of elimination to identify the disguised spy. We aren't just sitting still, either! We will be physically tapping our shoulders while counting backward to sneak past the guard dogs, and using tactile hand movements to crack the math code on the gadget vault dial!
While your kids think they are just playing a stealthy spy game, they are actually getting an incredible cognitive workout. In this episode's "Parent Corner" at the very end of the show, I break down how the process of elimination builds analytical patience. I also explain why counting backward is a massive working memory workout and the absolute prerequisite for confident subtraction!
Grab your kids, turn up the volume, and see if you can save graduation together!
